Hi guys!

My name's Jonathan "Waddles" Ponikvar, and if you've been playing the game for the past week or so you've likely seen me online at some point. I have a tendency to hop on and leave the chat scrolling to talk while doing work outside of the game, hehe. As such I'm only a level 8 mage, but I'm sure I'll get around to grinding more often once the new server comes in and eliminates the lag.

So yes, outside of the game, I'm a graduate art student working towards a Master's degree in comic art. I have a couple websites with my work on them, if you would like to see what it is that I do:

- My online comic that I try to update on a weekly basis. It runs off the idea that a child's imaginary friend could in fact be their guardian angel in disguise.
- My upcoming graphic novel that will be published in print instead of online. It has a much more epic storyline and the site is home to concept art and preview images for the final product.
- The place where I usually put all of my work, both for cartooning and otherwise.

I'm glad to be a part of this guild, and of the game as a whole! I've fallen in love with CozyQuest and I definitely see myself playing this one for a loooong time to come.

Impressive artwork, I took a look the other night. Sometimes I wish I had stuck with drawing, I did a lot in Elementary School and some in Middle School, but stopped around the age of 12. Not sure exactly what caused me to stop either.

I'm falling behind in levels myself, but I also plan to work on it more once the new server is up.

Hey Waddles welcome! Great to read a bit about you, and you do have an impressive artistic talent there! Well done mate. So when are you going to bring out some comic books / graphic novels on the App Store? You could do well with the new subscription model in v3.0. I've bought a few so far and been reasonably impressed with the quality for the price they're charging.

Noticed your favourite movie is Who Framed Roger Rabbit? Love that film!!! Def my fave live action / animated film. Who wouldn't drool over Jessica Rabbit!!!

Also noticed you're a fan of Gary Larson. I'm a H-U-G-E Far Side fan, and have all the FS collections. Love 'em!

I did find it amusing that your favourite genre of music is Video Game Music. Personally I found baroque music like Bach was best for concentration and studying to.

Don: I've also been drawing my entire life. Originally I had little sketchbooks all through elementary school that I filled with doodles of Bugs Bunny and the characters from Tiny Toons. I always did have a love for Warner Brothers animation as well as newspaper comics, so I guess my focus kinda stemmed primarily from a blend of those two.

Candy: Thanks! I'm hoping to hear back from him soon, too. It's unfortunate that he fell sick today so I hope he's okay. I also sent him an application to be a custom quest artist to help get the new content out the door more efficiently, so we'll see what he thinks of that idea as well. I could make custom items/enemies/location graphics within a day of receiving them if he decides to give me a chance to do so!

Barabar: Hehe, aw, thank you! My grad school classes this quarter are over on May 27th, so I've got a few weeks left to go. Basically all I have to do this quarter is crank out a few pages of my own comic for Advanced Inking, while working on an advertising campaign for my Digital Design Issues class. Both of those projects should be quick and pretty painless since I am already used to doing them on my own time. I've got my 45-hour review coming up on May 22nd, though, so I just hope that comes out okay.

Qwertimus: Awesome! Thanks for the suggestion on the App store, I haven't even considered doing that. Do you have any information I can look into on how to submit my comic for publication that way? I would absolutely love to get my first collection book sold through the store, I imagine it would get some pretty good exposure!
