Nils posted the possibility of creating an archer class. Anybody thinking about jumping ships to play as the archer? I think I would, I love playing as an archer in RPGs! Though it would be a hard decision as I've worked hard on advancing as a warrior

Sticking to a Mage, but Archer (Ranger?) should be an interesting class if handled properly.

I'm not jumping ship, but it's super cool to have a ranged attack class. I definitely want some on my team. ATM I'm excited about the possibilities of race and gods for priests.

I wouldn't switch, but if it had been there at the beginning of the game, I might have considered it.
I've had a few opportunities to use a bow. It's a lot of fun. Anyone else like archery in real life?

So as it stands, you could get our Slingshot 36-52 ranged damage and the Archer Vestments +8 ranged damage for a whopping 44-60 ranged damage. With a couple magic items and racial bonuses you could get that up to like 70 total.
Unless Ranged Damage does some special damage, like add to your defense against non-ranged damage or something, it doesn't seem like this is very valuable to anyone yet.

this will probably tie in with Metal Works. To Create like metal bolts for bows. or what not.
i'll keep my robes on though
